High Definition Cables
(HDC)
- Digital interconnect
HDC-01D
The HDC-01D high-definition digital interconnect cable is designed
utilising a solid copper inner conductor, aluminium polyester tape
for 100% shielding and tinned copper drain wires for uniform reliable
grounding. The insulated 75 Ohm BNC connectors have gold plated centre
pin for optimised digital signal transmission. The ground and signal
contact are airtight to ensure long term reliable high frequency signal
transmission.

- Analogue interconnect
HDC-02A
The HDC-02A high-definition signal interconnect cable is designed
utilising 4 conductors of low noise oxygen free copper for signal
transmission. There are 2 for 'Hot (+ve)' and 2 for 'Return (-ve)'
conductors twisted and wrapped with natural cotton filler and paper
separator to minimise electrostatic build up. Minimal loop area between
the conductors ensures optimum signal to noise ratio and minimal susceptibility
to electromagnetic interference. Each conductor is made of 40 strands
of 0.1mm diameter high purity oxygen free copper and the outer shield
braid is made of 128 strands of 0.1mm high purity tinned oxygen free
copper to ensure 98% screening coverage. Outer PVC / Neoprene sleeve
is highly flexible and extremely rugged. RCA plugs are Roksan designed
and made to provide consistent electrical contact over many years
and numerous insertions. To achieve this, the contact parts are solid
brass machined and gold plated to over 10µ. All conductors are
hand assembled and soldered to ensure low impedance connections. This
way the high quality of contact achieved is not interfered with any
crimped assembly parts used in most RCA plugs.

- Speaker
HDC-02S
The HDC-02S high definition loudspeaker cable is designed utilising
95 strands of high purity tinned copper per conductor sleeved in Red
and Black PVC and separated and sheathed overall in White PVC with
directional markings. The distance between the conductors is important
to control the capacitance of the cable. Too much capacitance, inductance
and resistance would alter the sound characteristics and thus impede
on overall performance. Although it is impossible to eliminate completely
the effect of these electrical characteristics, it is important to
strike the right balance to provide the optimum connection between
amplifier and loudspeaker ensuring low impedance, capacitance and
inductance. HDC-02S allows runs of upto 20m per length with little
effect on sound quality.

Turntable
Upgrade :
- Rmat-5
Correctly supports the vinyl record and couples it to the record player
platter without interfering with its natural state. It is important
not to stress the vinyl nor to 'damp' the vinyl in a non-linear fashion.
Considerable,
uniform, yet 'chaotic fashion' fibrous contact of the Rmat-5 with
the vinyl ensures a pure, coherent and wide bandwidth sound reproduction
with 'micro' detail and real dynamics.
