|
|
i have a doubt about roksan speakers (apart from the FR5 caspian floorstanders which i cannot afford) i come up with 2 results for those bookshelf type around 900:
1) ROK one
2) kandy K2
they look alike by the so-few pics on the net i can manage... any diference here or just a revamp to follow up the new cd/amp K2 series components roksan im getting this year? _________________ Roksan K2 amp / Atlas equador superior IC / Roksan K2 cd / Roksan TR5 speakers / Qed silver anniversary XT cables / Rega P3 turntable / Roksan Tabriz tonearm / Goldring 1006 cartridge. |

Rok ones are classic speakers if you can get hold of a pair. The Kandy 2's will suit your intended TT and amp very nicely,

They are very good, I have heard them a few times at the shows and have always enjoyed the all Roksan Kandy system.

cheap, not for me hahahaha - as for the radius 3 i gave up on the buy, since i wasnt willing to pay 550 for a second-hand 2002 turntable who had already 2 owners... for 450, i get a rega P3/24 or a pro-ject RPM 5 _________________ Roksan K2 amp / Atlas equador superior IC / Roksan K2 cd / Roksan TR5 speakers / Qed silver anniversary XT cables / Rega P3 turntable / Roksan Tabriz tonearm / Goldring 1006 cartridge. |

The thing with Roksans is they do last a very long time if well looked after, there are many very early Xerxes's still around and there is no reason why you shouldn't get any deck upgraded to current spec.
Join the Cogniscenti club and it can be very reasonable,

If the roksan club is only for technical support with a 20% discount only on parts needed to repair the components of the roksan brand, then i cant acquire components such as speakers with that price-cut, right ??? _________________ Roksan K2 amp / Atlas equador superior IC / Roksan K2 cd / Roksan TR5 speakers / Qed silver anniversary XT cables / Rega P3 turntable / Roksan Tabriz tonearm / Goldring 1006 cartridge. |
