Hi Guys,
I've noticed over the last couple of days that when I turn off my Kandy set up there is a mild thumping like a heart beat that goes on for quite a period (1/2 a minute anyway!) until disappearing into the ether.
Any ideas on what might be causing this and whether I should be worried?
The set up consists of Kandy Integrated with Kandy power amp bi-amped into Quad 21Ls. There's a Proj-ect Turntable, Arcam Tuner, Pioneer minidisc, Samsung DVD & TV and Sky box also supplying the source.
Haven't changed anything with the set up for a few weeks so nothing obvious there.
The standby mode on the power amp has never worked from the remote (the light doesn't function either, I believe that the sensor is adrift in the casing) but I couldn't be bothered to send it off to the factory as it sounded fine. This does mean that the power amp is on all the time and the heart beat comes in when I turn the integrated to standby mode.
Any thoughts anyone? _________________ Purple Walrus |

Hi PB,
I haven't so far as I thought it might be something others have experienced or it might be a power supply issue (we have one of those touch lamps that's started to turn itself on for so apparent reason - that's cool thinking about it!). Might be poltegistes!
I'll email Roksan today.
Thanks PB. _________________ Purple Walrus |
