  • Made of Aluminium Alloy and finished in Anodised Black
  • Improves clarity, depth, dynamics and musical coherence
  • Particularly suited for ‘lively’ support surfaces such as glass, marble …
  • Can be fitted to TMS, Xerxes10, Xerxes20 and the new upgrade plinths (replaces the spikes).

CASPIAN POWER AMPLIFIER UPGRADE TO M series

All Caspian power amplifiers with serial numbers that do not start with a prefix CAPA can now be upgraded to the latest version by changing the main PCB. For further details , please see the upgrade specification for the Caspian Integrated Amplifier below.



Caspian CD Player Upgrade (new DAC PCB)
  • High quality double sided DAC PCB with improved on board power supply
  • High precision custom made Crystal trimmed to within 15ppm with high stability to provide the system clock
  • Analogue filters utilising high-grade 1% Polystyrene capacitors
  • High frequency roll-off optimised to be completely smooth into Mhz range
  • Extended frequency response at both ends providing tighter, deeper and faster bottom end, naturally open mid-band and crisper yet smoother top end
  • New on board power supply section improved with far better high frequency noise rejection and dedicated regulators for the new output stage amplifier
  • The new output OpAmp with improved current drive

This new DAC upgrade elevates the Caspian CD Player performance to a new reference, in a class of its own.

The latest version of the Caspian Integrated Amplifier has even better resolution, dynamics and openness. The bottom end is better defined, faster and tighter. Improved separation and timing between individual instruments brings the Caspian integrated one step closer to the Roksan reference amplifiers. This quality of making it easy to listen to any musician, in complete harmony with the other musicians, is the key to full enjoyment of the music and the hallmark of any Roksan product.

DP1 Upgrades

The only upgrade still available for the DP1 CD transport is Change of the MASTER CLOCK to a newer , more accurate version. Change a number of the power supply components on the board to the latest versions. Re-set the mother board and the mechanism.

Original Xerxes

Settling Top Plinth problem of the Original Xerxes Record Player first released in 1985.

The XERXES top plinth cutout is an important element of the design of the recordplayer and should not be tampered with. It is part of the suspenssion that only works about an axis least affecting the cartridge/record interface. This portion, under the combined weight of the tonearm and the platters, will eventually settle down where there would be a 2mm (MAX.) gap visible at the back of the cutout portion which is normal. Please refer to the PDF files below for full details.

Roksan provides the shims and fitting instructions for lifting the bearing/platter if required.

XERXES TO XERXES 20 Upgrade

This upgrade is now available to all original Xerxes owners. The upgrade consists of a new Xerxes 20 without inner and outer platters (it utilises the original inner and outer platters). This upgrade, supported by Roksan, is to ensure that Xerxes owners are always able to enjoy the latest version of the Xerses record player.
